A custom 3D game engine will give players an option for an overhead view, although in a somewhat the same view (isometric) as the first two games.Battle.net will handle the multiplayer aspect of the game. New features introduced for Starcraft 2 will also be given to Diablo 3 multiplayer and players will be allowed to drop in and out of sessions during co-op missions.There will also be class-specific quests to go along with the quests of the main storyline.Picking up gold now will be automatic as long as the character touches it, unlike the previous two gameplays wherein a player will have to manually pick them up.Another good addition is the two new types of auction houses where players can spend gold picked up during the game.
